Institutional KAM & Sales Manager

About the role

This role is responsible for the effective management and development of Haleon’s Expert team (Professional Advocacy team). Ensuring the achievement of sales, advocacy, and visibility targets for Haleon in all direct (and indirect) accounts of responsibility.

Role Responsibilities

  • Hold accountability for the implementation of Haleon’s commercial strategy and exemplify the Dare 2 Grow mindset in the team working habits

  • Hold responsibility for all customer negotiations and maintaining strategic relationships

  • Oversee and execute promotional activities in line with the company’s strategy, ensuring effective communication and engagement with dentists, dental hygienists, pharmacists, and doctors as required

  • Lead and manage the field sales team, setting clear objectives, monitoring performance, and ensuring that all sales targets are met, to ensure Haleon wins in the market in terms of market share, achieves sell-in targets, gains recommendation of pharmacists and builds trusting and credible relationships with our customers

  • Ensure optimal implementation of corporate selling tools

  • Is accountable for the achievement and monitoring of KPIs and for the deployment of the forecasting exercise

  • Responsible for the effective use of the promotional material

  • Feed in insights from market and customers to the creation of channel strategy and incorporates them in area business planning

  • Lead a high performing team through effective talent management and coaching.

  • Develop credible relationships that lead to win-win agreements, ensuring Haleon’s strategy is implemented

  • Build annual customer plans and ensure regular monitoring of its execution

  • Lead cross functional cooperation to secure alignment on activation plans

  • Key account tactics towards influencing the big customers through synthesizing sell in-out and SiT data

Why you?

Minimum Required qualification:

  • Min 5 years’ experience in Sales Management including KA and Field sales management, ideally in a global FMCH or pharma company

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen

  • Experience in leading sales teams to success, strong field force management

  • Strong negotiation/ influence/ communication skills

  • Proven skills to manage a high degree of complexity in a changing environment

  • Results driven, resilience, problem solving and decision making mindset

  • Able to create business solutions
