In this role, you will:
- Handling tax documentation, withholding and reporting inquiries raised by business partners
- Daily TEFRA, NRA and FATCA withholding reconciliation and remittance
- Assist with research and resolution of reporting and withholding exceptions
- 1099 and 1042-S reporting tasks such as mock form reviews, management of trial runs and processing of tax reporting adjustments
- Cost Basis reconciliation and resolution
- Assist leadership in bringing individuals or teams together to resolve complex issues
- Help review and analyze functional operational tasks that require research, evaluation, and exercise independent judgment to guide the deliverable
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Identifying and formulating procedural changes which will enhance operational efficiency and data integrity
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ months of Institutional Investment Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Sound knowledge and understanding of financial markets and securities
- Knowledge of security-based accounting and/or security-based tax reporting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office skills with advanced Excel skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Effective organizational, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills
- Ability to develop and manage business relationships
- Sound time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills
