DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Modeling, pricing, and executing equity as well as commodity derivative transactions for clients. Engaging in analysis and communication with trading teams on appropriate risk and clearing levels. Summarizing and creating research based commentary for market color as well as to promote thematic trade ideas. Work with teams specialized in cross-asset structuring and investable indices to innovate new products customized to provide further alpha for our client portfolios. Market proprietary suite of investable indices which invest in the market based on various quantitative signals and factors such as momentum, carry, volatility, value, and more. Work across multiple asset classes in Developed and Emerging Markets such as Foreign Exchange products, Interest Rate products, Corporate/Government bonds, Equities, as well as Commodities. Help pension funds hedge their Deferred Compensation Plans in the optimal way possible with minimal tracking error. Engage in client communication - in person and virtually to determine client goals, suitability, market outlook, and portfolio needs. Manage multiple client facing operational processes allowing for smooth execution of trades along with developing technology platforms to expand our client penetration. Prospecting potential pockets in the market for new clients. This position requires up to 20% domestic and international travel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Economics, Finance, or related field of study plus 2.5 years (30 months) of experience in the job offered.
Skills Required: Requires experience with the following: Financial Derivatives; OTC regulatory requirements inclusive of NCMR; Dodd Frank Protocols; CFTC Reporting; Equity and commodity derivatives; risk factor signals; funding curves; Black Scholes option valuation models; Mono or cross-asset quantitative investment strategies; Pensions; endowments; and foundations; Must possess Certification: SIE (Securities Industry Essentials); Must be able to licensed within 90 days of hire: Swaps Dealer Registration - National Futures Association; Series 7 - General Securities Representative Exam, Series 63 - Uniform Securities Agent State Law Exam.
Job Location: 383 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10017. This position requires up to 20% domestic and international travel.
Full-Time. Salary: $190,653 - $200,00 per year.
