Overview
Install Specialists oversee the installation of new submetering systems at properties under construction and the replacement of existing submetering systems. Before installation, you are responsible to review the contracts and proposals for content and accuracy. You are the primary contact for clients and contractors as you schedule installation and update them on progress. You also coordinate other project-related matters like equipment needed, troubleshooting issues with the submetering system, forecasting work order visits, etc. Your consistent work has a strong effect on the Meters Department's overall workflow and our client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Review proposals and contracts relating to the installation or retrofit of submetering systems
- Coordinate with clients and contractors to schedule submeter installation
- Forecast timing of work according to provided turn schedule estimates
- Maintain clean and organized work in Netsuite in order to track the progress of the Install project effectively
- Regularly update all parties involved, both electronically and by phone
- Answer submetering questions from clients
- Proactively communicate expectations and needs with the client to ensure alignment and smooth delivery of contracted work
- Order, ship, and track submetering equipment
- Determine if special equipment is required to install submeters
- Update internal and third-party submetering software
- Remotely troubleshoot submetering systems
- Maintain organized records of work relating to our clients’ submetering systems
- Collaborate with site teams, sales, account management, and other internal teams to ensure smooth installation and transition to billing
- Work with property contacts to address any onsite concerns from Conservice or client and provide change orders when necessary
