The Inspack plays a vital role in our QS Department and the production process by ensuring that the bags are properly packaged, verified with high quality standards, and prepared for distribution. This position requires attention to detail, good aptitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
DESCRIPTION
- Ensure all parameters of Safety, Food Safety and Quality are being adhered to and maintained throughout the plant.
- Immediately report to supervisor any incident and unsafe condition.
- Perform visual and physical inspections to verify that the products meet design specifications and quality standards.
- Follow the inspection and packaging procedures according to the work instructions.
- Maintain detailed records of inspection, including any defects found or other non-conformities.
- Ensure that defective or non-conforming products are properly tagged.
- Monitor production line operations and adjust as needed to maintain efficiency and quality standards.
- Communicate findings to the operator to address quality issues, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
- Inspect and pack on hold material and fill out the finished bag inspection report while the assigned machine is off.
- Ensure that all inspections and procedures adhere to safety regulations and quality control standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Conduct other duties as assigned by management.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to interpret instructions effectively.
- Ability of repetitive reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, kneeling, and carrying.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Primarily located on the manufacturing floor, involving exposure to loud noise, machinery, high temperatures, and chemicals.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
