DESCRIPTION

  • Ensure all parameters of Safety, Food Safety and Quality are being adhered to and maintained throughout the plant.
  • Immediately report to supervisor any incident and unsafe condition.
  • Perform visual and physical inspections to verify that the products meet design specifications and quality standards.
  • Follow the inspection and packaging procedures according to the work instructions.
  • Maintain detailed records of inspection, including any defects found or other non-conformities.
  • Ensure that defective or non-conforming products are properly tagged.
  • Monitor production line operations and adjust as needed to maintain efficiency and quality standards.
  • Communicate findings to the operator to address quality issues, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
  •  Inspect and pack on hold material and fill out the finished bag inspection report while the assigned machine is off.
  • Ensure that all inspections and procedures adhere to safety regulations and quality control standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Conduct other duties as assigned by management.

  • Familiarity with FSSC 22000:2005, GMPs, and HACCP are preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Preferred experience in operating machinery on a production line will be a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to interpret instructions effectively.
  • Ability of repetitive reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, kneeling, and carrying.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Primarily located on the manufacturing floor, involving exposure to loud noise, machinery, high temperatures, and chemicals.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.

Skills Required
