We are looking for an Insights Data Analyst to join our Sales and Customer Success teams who support ASAPP’s goal to reduce the need for excessive labor while ensuring excellent first contact resolution and maintaining high customer satisfaction, all while offering the most cost-effective solution for long-term operation.
Working closely with our Customer Success Managers, Strategists and Account Directors, the Analyst will provide data-driven solutions that will empower our existing customers to maximize the value they receive from ASAPP and help prospective customers see the potential value they will receive from ASAPP. The primary responsibilities of the role will include conducting ad hoc data analyses, providing recommendations and crafting narratives around performance and opportunities.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who has strong technical skills and the drive to own the end-to-end completion of various data-related projects (including writing queries, designing dashboards and building slide decks).

What you’ll do
- Serve as a strategic partner to Customer Success, Product and Sales teams, helping them achieve business objectives through insights
- Conduct analyses on large datasets to uncover optimization opportunities and drive value for large enterprises
- Design slide decks and dashboards to help convey data insights to non-technical audiences
- Write custom SQL queries to fulfill data requests for both internal and external stakeholders
- Help shape the roadmap for generative AI solutions for the contact center
- Occasionally assist in customer facing presentations
What you’ll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field; or equivalent work experience2-4 years of experience manipulating and uncovering insights from large data sets
- Advanced SQL skills, including the ability to write new queries and interpret existing queries
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Sisense, RStudio, Tableau, etc.) and an ability to create simple yet impactful data visualizations from complex data sets
- Ability to produce end-to-end slide decks to be presented to non-technical audiences
- Familiarity with database systems and data warehousing concepts
What we’d like to see
- Experience working with Python and using large language models for analytics purposes
- Previous experience working at an AI or technology startup
- Experience working with Google Docs Editor Suite (Google Docs, Slides, Sheets)
- Customer-facing experience is a plus but not required for this role
