Our Analysts are vital to NIQ’s success. They work every day with our client base, which includes most of the major FMCG brands you see in the supermarket as well as most of the retailers where you’ll find these products.
Our clients trust our Insights Analysts, coming to them when they have challenges and questions. NIQ’s Analysts work with our clients to create and present analyses based on the world’s best datasets.

We require an Insight Analyst to work with a large UK retailer based in West Yorkshire. The role involves working collaboratively with the client and alongside a talented NIQ team, using Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS / RMS) data.
You will make a difference by developing a deep understanding of the retail landscape, current market trends and the client’s business to identify how NIQ can bring maximum value to the client partnership. Experience with Consumer or Market data is certainly a positive, however, a fast-track training programme will be put in place to support the learning of the methodology and tool.
Salary: 21,100 GBP to 36000 gross per year. Placement within the range will depend on objective criteria including experience, skills, and internal equity considerations. We are committed to equal pay and pay transparency. Remuneration decisions are made using gender-neutral and objective criteria.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To work as part of the FMCG Customer Success team within the Retailer division.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with both client and internal stakeholders
Identifying key client business issues and translating them into analytical briefs
Delivering outstanding analysis and insight to the client
Contributing to ongoing training and development of our people and capabilities
Developing and delivering against account plans to support the client’s business objectives
Responsible for identifying opportunities through day-to-day engagements with our clients, handing off opportunities to Account Development to pursue
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent time management and prioritization skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time
Confident numerically and has ability to analyse data confidently
Problem solving and solutions orientated
Performs work accurately and effectively with attention to detail
Engaging presenter, Good at building relationships, internally and with clients
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience of working in an analytical environment , an understanding of the FMCG industry and trends and capable of leveraging tools such as Microsoft excel and PowerPoint
