ABOUT THE ROLE   

The Customer Success team at NIQ acts as a strategic partner to our clients, helping them respond faster to changing market dynamics. We specialize in a wide range of food, cosmetics, household products, beverages and other industries, delivering insights and recommendations that are critical to our clients' success. 

We are currently looking for a motivated Insight Analyst to join our team, which supports some of the biggest WE/global FMCG clients. In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders across one or more categories on WE/global markets, helping them make better decisions based on research and sales data. 

RESPONSIBILITIES   

  • Building a strong partnership with your internal and/or external stakeholders and seek to make an impact by creating & delivering slides and story flows, analytical insights & presentations for our clients 

  • Fostering a strong understanding of your clients’ business priorities    

  • Working with large data sets to understand drivers of category and brand performance on country level  

  • Sharing and actively searching for best practice examples and implementing the approach in their own work whenever possible.  

  • Supporting other team members during client meetings and presentations 

  • Maintaining stakeholder satisfaction through clear expectations management and effective coordination of the analytical pipeline, while fostering long-term relationships built on trust and consistent delivery. 

  • Contributing to the team mission by participation in strategic internal projects (coaching, championship, analytical or soft-skills projects)

For this crucial business role, you will have to possess strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, as well as demonstrate an analytical mindset, curiosity, accountability, and engagement. 

You will make a difference by helping some of the largest manufacturers make the right choices for their growth strategies. You will partner with your colleagues and support the clients to discover what is happening with their categories and brands and what they should do to improve business performance. 

 

Qualifications

  • Min. 1,5 - 2 years of experience working in an analytical capacity   
  • Previous working experience with FMCG, T&D, Retail, or market research industry would be considered a big advantage   

  • Knowledge of NielsenIQ/Gfk data and systems is an asset     

  • University degree in Business/Marketing/Economics/Statistics or related field  

  • An aptitude and aspirations to build trust and relationships with internal stakeholders, while being open to a client-facing role in future  

  • Strong numerical confidence, data visualization skills, and ability to translate numbers into clear insights and recommendations   

  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint  

  • Fluent communication in English - verbal and written (at least C1 level)  

  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time    

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ease of working in a multicultural setting and a virtual environment 

  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player

Skills Required

  • 1.5-2 years experience in an analytical capacity
