Job Duties

Inbound Customer Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming customer sales calls, emails and walk-ins.
- Provide timely, professional, and solution-oriented responses to product, pricing, and service inquiries.
- Accurately capture customer requirements and ensure seamless communication with internal teams as needed.
Quoting & Queue Management
- Generate accurate customer quotes within 30 minutes or less, meeting established turnaround targets.
- Maintain an organized, continually prioritized quoting queue to consistently achieve turnaround goals.
- Escalate workload or capacity issues when the queue grows beyond a level that allows for on-time delivery.
- Ensure all quotes are complete, correct, and aligned with company pricing, policies, and product offerings.
Outbound Follow-Ups & Revenue Growth
- Conduct outbound follow-up calls and emails to convert outstanding quotes, re-engage past customers, and capture additional revenue opportunities.
- Identify and recommend upsell or cross-sell products aligned with customer needs.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships that encourage repeat business.
Performance Management & Reporting
- Meet or exceed defined KPIs, including:
- Quote turnaround time (30-minute or less)
- Quote-to-order conversion rate
- Revenue generation
- Upsell / cross-sell performance
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotes, and opportunities in CRM systems.
- Provide feedback on recurring customer issues, process inefficiencies, or opportunities to improve the sales workflow.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Be the liaison for Joplin and Beaumont for quotes and ensuring the factories have the proper S in SIOP to support the Industrial Business Unit part numbers including but not limited to Nat Gas Business, Rotating Electrical, and anticipated Hydraulics which will flow through Odessa.
Report on Fill Rate from the factories to Odessa, and Fill Rate from Odessa to the customers monthly to the Branch Manager and VP of Sales.
Develop cadence with Joplin and Beaumont to review opportunities to improve SIOP that will drive improved inventory turns and minimize core storage and aging inventory.
Identify incremental revenue opportunities with current Industrial and new Industrial products based on market trends, customer requests, or territory sales feedback. Communicate results to Product Management and Director of Nat Gas Sales.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Some exposure to harsh conditions—such as: dust, fumes, noise, and varying temperatures—for short periods of time is possible. This employee will be required to demonstrate continued knowledge of Haz/Com regulations and requirements. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Sitting 70%, standing/walking 30%. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds is required. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers to handle or feel; talk and hear.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum experience
- 1–3 years of inside sales, customer service, or related experience.
- Experience with hydraulics is preferred.
- Strong phone presence and excellent written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage a dynamic workload.
- Comfortable working with CRM systems, quoting tools, and standard office software.
- Results-driven mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
