Weimer Bearing & Transmission is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Technical Inside Sales Representative to join our growing Charleston team, part of our Carolina Bearing & Belting Division.
We specialize in high-tech mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical motion control products and services, supporting major manufacturing and maintenance companies across a wide range of industries. Responsibilities
- Enter and process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare customer quotations and follow up on opportunities
- Handle returns, expediting, and order status updates
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers
- Provide technical product solutions and support to customers
- Learn and understand our product lines and applications
- Participate in and complete our internal training program
- Build strong customer relationships through excellent service and communication
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of inside sales experience required
- Industrial sales or power transmission product experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical products
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
