This position reports to the Regional Operations Manager and offers an opportunity to contribute to ABB Motion, supporting customers across Central Canada with industry-leading motor solutions.

Your role and responsibilities

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will support customers and sales activities by providing technical expertise on industrial electrical motors and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

The work model for the role is: hybrid

This role is contributing to the ABB Motion, NEMA Division in Milton, Ontario, Canada.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Providing technical support and product guidance for electrical motor applications to internal and external customers.

  • Managing customer inquiries, quotations, and orders from initial request through shipment.

  • Coordinating with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to resolve customer issues effectively.

  • Supporting account retention and growth by executing established sales processes and proactively following up on opportunities.

  • Preparing quotations, including customized motor solutions, while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through proactive communication and issue resolution.

  • Monitoring sales activities, forecasts, and key performance indicators while providing insights to management.

  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction

Qualifications for the role

  • Post-secondary education in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Significant experience in inside sales, customer support, or technical sales support, including direct experience with industrial electrical motors.

  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical motors, including familiarity with NEMA and IEC standards.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills with a customer-focused mindset.

  • Experience with SAP and logistics processes is considered an asset
