What you'll do:
- Assist outside sales personnel by processing priority transactions
- Increase business by selling to customers in addition to taking COD orders
- Process telephone orders by gathering all pertinent information to get a quote
- Review tickets for billing; and processes billing reports
- Establish and maintain customer relationships, communications with customers and co-workers to provide technical information
- Gain familiarity with the day-to-day operations of the business and participates in improving operations by offering potential alternatives to existing methods
- Provide follow-up for customer quotes and lost sales
- Gather marketing information regarding customers, competitors and pricing as well as implements sales strategies set forth by senior management
- Maintain reports including but not limited to crushing logs, daily sales reports, sales order entries, backlog report and billing reports
- Participate in training opportunities to enhance and maintain personal and product knowledge
- Perform other duties as assigned
What you'll need:
- Some sales experience, preferred
- Knowledge of Construction, Concrete & Asphalt Recycling and or Demolition, preferred
- Strong computer skills, math and writing skills sufficient to estimate project costs and write proposals; and math skills to develop, track, and prepare job costs reports
- Must have excellent verbal communication skills to communicate with other employees, supervisors, and clients
- Ability to multitask while remaining focused
- Ability to drive motor vehicle
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time without breaks
- Proficient skills in MS Office, specifically MS Excel
Working conditions:
- Occasional lifting of equipment up to 50 pounds
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Exposure to loud noise, machinery, chemicals, fumes, odors, etc
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary Range $55,120 to $70,490 USD
