ABOUT THE ROLE
The Inside Sales Supervisor plays a key role in overseeing the daily operations of the Inside Sales team. This position supports a team of Inside Sales Representatives who are responsible for driving sales growth within the travel advisor channel while delivering exceptional service to travel advisors and the field sales team. The Supervisor will ensure team performance, coach and develop team members, manage workflow and service levels, and help implement processes and tools to improve efficiency and results. This is a hands-on role, focused on supporting team execution rather than high-level strategy.
The ideal candidate has strong organizational and communication skills, experience in sales or service operations, and a collaborative approach to leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership & Oversight
· Supervise the daily activities of the Inside Sales team to ensure productivity and service goals are consistently met.
· Provide coaching, training, and ongoing feedback to team members to improve performance and product knowledge.
· Manage task distribution and monitor workloads to ensure team resources are being used effectively.
· Track and report on team performance metrics, ensuring accountability for meeting KPIs.
· Support new team member onboarding and skill development.

Sales Support & Service Excellence
· Oversee the handling of travel advisor inquiries, including commission questions, registration, and service escalations.
· Ensure all interactions with travel advisors are documented accurately using Salesforce and other company systems.
· Assist the team in identifying new business opportunities within the travel advisor community, with a focus on growing relationships with key accounts and Disney Earmarked partners.
· Serve as a point of contact for Disney Earmarked and Disney Vacation Club accounts.
· Support sales initiatives to drive advisor engagement and retention.

Process & Systems Management
· Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
· Assist with the implementation of new tools and processes to streamline sales operations.
· Participate in system testing as a representative of the Inside Sales team.
· Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, operations, and field sales, to ensure smooth communication and alignment.
Program Management
· Oversee the administration of the travel advisor discount rate program and educational trip program.
· Provide resources and updates to international sales partners as needed.
· Represent Inside Sales at industry events, as required.
· Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, customer service, or related field; travel industry experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with the Seaware reservation system is a plus.
  • Proven ability to supervise and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of the travel advisor distribution channel; luxury or expedition travel experience a plus.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Seaware or similar reservation systems.
  • Knowledge of sales processes and travel industry best practices.
  • Understanding of domestic and international travel markets and consumer behavior.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Using the English language, this person must have the ability to read, write, and comprehend policies, legal guidelines, correspondence, and memos. Must also possess the ability to effectively communicate--both in writing and orally--with a professional demeanor.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and hear. The employee will also be required to write and type. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.

COMPENSATION STATEMENT
Lindblad Expeditions determines the pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data. We evaluate external equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. Our posted salary range is based on national data and may be refined for a candidate's region/town/cost of living.

For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. Salaries will be based on the applicant’s location, level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills. An employee/candidate with a stronger skill set will receive higher pay.
