Role Overview:
Imerys, global leader providing mineral-based specialty solutions for industry, is hiring an Inside Sales Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our customer base, sales resources, products and channels for the Ceramics market to achieve planned results.
This position is located in our Roswell, GA Headquarters.
Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days remote)
You will:
• Learn all Imerys segments and product offerings
• Position our company as a driven solution by explaining technical, industry and market information
• Join and collaborate with your colleagues, cross-functionally, to support the sales process
Sales Responsibilities:
Maintains the Tiles and Fiberglass revenue, understands and interprets customer requirements, and provides inside sales support to key accounts.
Manages a portfolio of inside sales accounts to learn and grow the business, while capturing an opportunity to generate new business.
Assesses competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends and identifying sales opportunities.
Drive price notice process and support administrative function for sales with key accounts.
Accomplishes department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, such as supporting the Life Sciences team with administrative requests (Salesforce, samples, credits)
Works closely with S&OP, Product Management, Marketing, and Customer Service to understand capacities, supply capability, and pricing guidance.
Monthly Sales Reporting on Back-log, opportunity report, and monthly tracking of growth programs
Provide forecast guidance for accounts on a monthly basis.
Ensure competitiveness by evaluating pricing and communicating increases with sales managers as needed.
Manage Imerys internal portals, including Salesforce (samples, opportunities, and complaints), pricing, and document management.
Supports Sales Managers and Sales Director on pricing & product inquiries
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, preferred
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience working with customers and/or technology
Basic knowledge of products sold into the Ceramics Market.
Proven track record of quickly mastering new technical products or systems and translating that knowledge into solutions for customers.
Proficient in Excel, Salesforce, and Google Suite
Attention to detail & process oriented
Self-Motivated
Cross-Functional
Works in a fast paced environment
General industry and competitor knowledge of the Ceramics market.
Basic customer relationship skills
