We are looking for an Inside Sales to support our Sales Engineers in Spain for the Business Unit of Industrial Gases. The selected person will be focused on developing and increase the sales, by handling incoming and outgoing communication to support customers’ needs, and utilize that knowledge to secure business and give high quality service to the assigned customers.

The position requires skills in supporting customers experience and our Sales Engineers of Spain. This role will be based in Terrassa (Barcelona) and reports to the Inside Sales Managed located in Leuven (Belgium).

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Receive and process complex customer inquiries on pricing, lead-time, product offering, complaints … through an efficient, prompt, and friendly communication, to maintain excellent customer relationships
  • Handle technical inquires and provide information to solve problems, clarify matters or expedite process on any aspect of customer relations
  • Call the customers for the smallest opportunities to increase our order rate on small product amount
  • Issue and follow up quotations
  • Gather cost and technical data of special components when requested, to complete accurate quotation package
  • Manage & follow-up processes as CAPA for quality issue, ADP, CQP & customers notification
  • CRM: Register the opportunities, follow-up of the activity and help your close collaboration with your sales engineer with the tool
  • Establish key communication link with other internal departments (sales, customer service, finance, …)

Relevant Experience and Skills:

  • Higher education with Commercial orientation preferably
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a support sales role or sales department
  • Native Spanish & Catalan, as well as fluent English (company language)
  • CRM management
  • Strong administration, organizational and commercial skills
