Role Summary
The Contract Renewals Representative – Systems manages the renewal of Cadence Systems software contracts. This role focuses on maximizing customer retention, reducing churn risk, and driving incremental growth through proactive engagement with existing customers. The position requires close collaboration with Sales Account Executives (AXs) and Order Management teams to execute the full quote-to-order process accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive renewals for Cadence Systems software across assigned accounts in North America.
- Partner with Sales AXs and Order Management to manage renewal opportunities and maintain accurate forecasting.
- Proactively contact customers to secure renewals, identify upsell opportunities, and address product-related needs.
- Maintain complete and accurate account data, forecasts, quotes, and activity records in Salesforce.com.
- Monitor order processing flow and resolve issues to ensure timely completion.
- Track and report on non-renewals, pending renewals, and cancellations, including reasons for churn.
- Promote new product releases and solutions to existing customers to support growth objectives.
- Meet or exceed quarterly bookings targets while delivering reliable forecasts.
Day-to-Day Activities
- Provide inside sales support to Sales Directors and AXs for named accounts and territories.
- Manage assigned renewal maintenance portfolio across multiple Cadence products, including structural analysis, CFD, and other CAE workflows.
- Monitor KPIs and maintain tracking reports for renewal performance.

- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in inside sales or contract renewals, preferably in software solutions.
- Familiarity with quote-to-order processes and back-end order flow management.
- Basic understanding of Cadence Systems technologies to engage in technical-level discussions with users.
- Proficiency with Salesforce.com, CPQ quoting tools
