As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll manage an active account base, identify customer needs, and provide tailored solutions across parts, service, and digital offerings.

Job Description:
  • Proactively build quality customer relationships and manage an account base of 800–1,200 accounts with $1–$2 million in assigned product support revenue.
  • Conduct needs analysis and recommend products based on customer business requirements.
  • Maintain a minimum of 50 calls per week to promote, qualify equipment leads, and sell parts, service, labor, and customer service agreements.
  • Keep accurate customer account and machine population data to support targeting and forecasting.
  • Utilize CRM systems and tools such as SalesLink, finQuote, PSQ, SIMSi, and SIS.
  • Promote Finning/Cat digital solutions including my.finning.com, Cat App, and Cat Inspect.
  • Support regional sales initiatives and collaborate with external sales representatives.
  • Execute call programs for customer experience enhancements (e.g., 2-2-6 program, expiring warranty, proactive PM initiatives).

Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Make outbound calls to maintain and grow account relationships.
  • Generate quotes for parts, CSAs, and attachments.
  • Update CRM records and monitor account performance.
  • Provide digital solution support and assist customers with technology adoption.
  • Participate in regional events and marketing programs.

Requirements:

  • Related post secondary education in business, marketing, etc.
  • Previous sales experience, including proactive telephone selling.
  • Experience in Parts, Heavy Equipment, Mechanic, or Electrical industries is an asset.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort with cold calling.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

  • This role can be worked out of the following Finning locations:
    • Edmonton
    • Calgary
  • Permanent, full-time role.
  • Monday – Friday, 5x2 shift.
