Based at our regional branch, you will be the first point of contact for customers, delivering a first-class experience both over the phone and in person. You will play a key role in converting leads into sales, hosting customers, and maximising opportunities through our website, events, and marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Lead Conversion: Proactively make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers, converting inbound leads into sales across new and used machinery, attachments, and service packages.
Customer Engagement: Host customers at the regional branch, providing walkarounds, finalising deals, and ensuring a seamless collection experience.
CRM Management: Maintain accurate customer records, machine population data, and account details to support marketing initiatives and repeat business.
Marketing & Campaigns: Actively promote marketing campaigns, events, and promotions to drive sales and customer interest.
Collaboration: Work closely with the regional field sales team and Cat Financial Services to ensure smooth sales processes and customer satisfaction.
Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new opportunities, ensuring target revenue and appointment goals are met.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Proactive outbound B2B sales skills with a professional telephone manner
Experience in machinery sales desirable (Plant, Agriculture, or Automotive)
Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and KPIs
Strong interpersonal and organisational abilities
Excellent communication and customer service capabilities
Self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed
Innovative and analytical thinker
Proficiency in CRM systems and PC applications
Understanding of database marketing
