About the Role

What’s the mission you’ll drive

Drive rapid adoption of Addi within the SMB segment by proactively identifying, engaging, and securing new merchant partnerships. This role directly fuels Addi's growth by expanding our network of accepting businesses and generating transaction volume.

What you will do
  • Acquisition

    • Significantly expand our base of active merchants, strengthening Addi's presence within the SMB sector.

  • GMV Generation

    • Substantially increase the total Gross Merchandise Volume generated by newly acquired merchants, driving overall growth for Addi.

  • Productivity & Efficiency

    • Continuously optimize the process of onboarding new merchants, achieving a consistent flow of quality sign-ups from managed leads.

  • Relationship & Retention

    • Foster strong and lasting relationships with new merchants, ensuring their satisfaction and promoting repeat transactions over time.

  • Data Integrity & Reporting

    • Guarantee the accuracy and timely updates of all relevant information regarding sales activities, merchant data, and progress reports within the CRM system.

What we’re looking for
  • Hunter Mentality & Sales Acumen

    • Recent graduates or students in their final semester (no prior full-time work experience required).

    • 0–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or call center environments selling products or services.

    • Possesses a proactive and persistent drive to identify and close new business opportunities, demonstrating a deep understanding of consultative selling techniques and the ability to articulate Addi's value proposition to SMBs. Demonstrated through consistently exceeding sales targets and effectively navigating objections.

  • SMB Market Expertise

    • Exhibits a strong understanding of the SMB landscape, including common business challenges and opportunities, enabling tailored solutions and effective communication. Evidenced by the ability to quickly build rapport with SMB owners/managers and understand their specific needs.

  • Results-Oriented Execution & Follow-Through

    • Demonstrates a relentless focus on achieving targets and a meticulous approach to managing the sales pipeline, ensuring consistent follow-up and timely completion of all required actions. Shown by maintaining a well-organized CRM, adhering to sales processes, and proactively addressing potential roadblocks.

  • Relationship Building & Networking Proficiency

    • Builds and maintains strong, trust-based relationships with merchants, fostering long-term partnerships and leveraging networking opportunities to expand reach within the commercial sector. Demonstrated through positive merchant feedback and a growing network of relevant contacts within the city.

  • Data-Driven Insights & Reporting

    • Utilizes CRM data and sales analytics to identify trends, optimize outreach strategies, and provide accurate and timely reports on progress and results to management. Evidenced by the ability to analyze personal performance data to improve efficiency and provide actionable insights in reports.

  • Adaptability & Resilience

    • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment, demonstrating the ability to adapt sales strategies, overcome challenges, and maintain a positive attitude in the face of setbacks. Shown by quickly learning new product features, adapting to evolving market conditions, and bouncing back from rejections.

How the hiring process looks like

We believe in a fast, transparent, and engaging hiring experience that allows both you and us to determine if there's a great fit. Here’s what our process looks like:

  • Step 1: People Interview (30 minutes)

    You'll have an initial conversation to explore your professional journey and how your experiences align with the requirements of this role. We'll also discuss your motivations and career aspirations to understand how you see yourself growing with Addi. We'll be looking at your Alignment with the Role and assessing your fit with our core values: Cultural Alignment (Craftsmanship, We start from the customer, Company of owners).

  • Step 2: Initial Interview (30 minutes)

    This session will allow us to delve deeper into your past experiences and evaluate your problem-solving abilities. We'll also explore your understanding of key aspects relevant to success at Addi, such as different sales approaches, drivers of expertise and expansion, and various sales methodologies. We'll discuss the specific responsibilities and expectations of the Inside Sales Representative role in more detail.

  • Step 3: Business Case (90 minutes)

    This stage involves a business case designed to assess your strategic thinking and approach in a sales context. We'll be evaluating your Alignment with the SMBs team, your Communication and Active Listening Skills, and your Sales Approach, including your understanding of different sales methodologies, drivers of expertise and expansion, and various sales approaches.

  • Step 4: Deep Dive Interview (30 minutes)

    This final conversation will focus on your integration within the SMBs team. We'll further assess your Alignment with the SMBs team, your Communication and Active Listening Skills, and your Sales Approach, including your understanding of different sales methodologies, drivers of expertise and expansion, and various sales approaches.
