The Role

As a Sales Representative you will be responsible for educating pizzerias on the value of the entire Slice solution. The Sales team serves as the face of Slice in educating pizzeria owners about the value of partnering with Slice on our full suite of products to grow their business with extra focus on our Slice Family Membership. Your goals will be based on selling and implementing Slice Family Membership to as many new shops as possible. The product suite you’ll be selling primarily focuses on Point of Sale which is the core hub of the shop, but also includes online ordering, phone solution and potentially the ‘goods’ (Slice supplies). In this role, you will oversee the entire sales and upsell process from prospect to pitch to close. You will primarily be on the phone completing the entire sales cycle with rare Video Product Demos included. This is a high-velocity, strategic sales role with lots of daily touchpoints to achieve targets. Additionally, you will own your territory, meaning you are responsible for managing and nurturing all accounts within it. You’ll need to stay on top of your shops, ensuring they are fully supported and set up for long-term success with Slice. This includes building strong relationships, proactively identifying growth opportunities, and acting as the trusted advisor for your pizzeria partners.

The Team

You will report to a Senior Sales Manager. You will be part of a larger multinational inside sales team that shares ownership of selling all products to prospective shops across the United States.

The Winning Recipe

We're looking for a highly-motivated, entrepreneurial individual who is comfortable closing sales, operating in ambiguous situations, and collaborating with various cross-functional teams to maximize success.

These are the core competencies this role calls for:

  • 2-4 years of selling experience (SMB and/or restaurant-tech industry is a plus, but not required)
  • Spanish Language Fluency preferred
  • Strong track record of being a top performer and consistently exceeding goals
  • Goal-oriented, excellent organizational abilities & relationship building skills, and a passion for managing the details
  • A hustler who thrives in an ever-changing, fast-paced startup environment and is willing to contribute wherever necessary as plans and priorities change
  • Excellent communication skills; effectively leads pitches and presentations and is comfortable on the phone. 
  • Ability to problem-solve and cater pitches to address owner pain points in real time
  • A go-getter who is coachable, adaptable, internally motivated, and resilient
  • Salesforce experience is ideal, not required
  • Most importantly, you are excited about selling Slice and sharing our mission every day!

The Hiring Process
