Job summary:This position generates revenue/profit margin in assigned accounts via telephone or electronic means. May generate prospective customers through cold calling and/or qualify and follow-up with sales leads as provided. Focuses on accounts and prospects within assigned territories and supports the Territory Management team.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prospects for and identifies new opportunities for company products, at new and existing customers, to accomplish and maintain expected sales revenue and margin targets within assigned territories.
- Generates and qualifies business leads in support of the Opportunity Pipeline growth targets.
- Utilize SFDC to report competitor landscape and competitor pricing.
- Follow the sales process managing opportunity data, creating projects, and quote follow up to close.
- Aligned with territory management strategic objectives, proactively communicates and builds relationships with key purchasing, engineering, and other relevant contacts within assigned accounts.
- In collaboration with the sales operation specialist (COE Resource), prepare reports on customer contacts, sales opportunities, and accomplishments within the company CRM tool (Salesforce.com) to keep management up to date on any pertinent information and activities within assigned accounts to report results and evaluate marketing strategies and sales territory plans
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
