The PRO Inside Sales Representative is accountable for driving PRO business growth through the recruitment of both new PRO partners and new D2C referrals. The inside sales representative will be responsible for execution of the PRO BU strategy and achievement of business objectives/KPI’s by delivering specific sales goals. This is achieved by supporting the team in our broader KPI’s as well as responsibility for specific assigned Inside Sales KPI’s and responsibilities. This role virtually sells to customers. Associate will work with our PRO sales team to recruit PRO Customers (breeders, shelters, WSSD) onto our D2C referral program.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Meet overall sales objectives & KPI’s. Demonstrate success in improving the recruitment of new D2C customers and gaining the recommendation from our PRO Partners (Breeders, Shelters, and WSSD)
- Utilize Salesforce and PRO specific reports to strategically target recruitment.
- Proactively identify and pursue RFP opportunities, lead the development of compelling proposal responses, and drive the process through to contract award.
- Learn, understand, and share with our partners the importance of Nutrition.
- Build effective relationships across all cross functional teams. (D2C, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service)
- Continually acquire new product knowledge and sales skills by utilizing internal resources and staying current with company provided tools (classroom training, E-learning modules etc)
- Build effective relationships within the PRO team and support them as needed from an inside sales perspective
- Develop and execute an effective Business Plan for the Inside Sales Role
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with Line Manager and routinely adjust the strategies, tactics, and investments based on changing needs to maximize performance and hit KPI goals.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team-based environment. Adept at working in highly fluid, complex, and ever-changing environments
What are we looking for?
- Associate degree required
- Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) preferred with 2-3 years Sales experience
- Bi-Lingual Preferred (English/Spanish)
- Enthusiastic self-starter, interested in breaking into a more sales focused career path
- Success in previous roles including creatively finding opportunities or solving problems to drive advocacy
- Experience using analytics and insights to enhance decision-making and tactical execution
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a close team environment, self-starter
- Verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Follow-through and attention to detail
- A natural curiosity to learn and understand a unique business model
- Ability to build report on phone with new prospective partners and customers.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
