Inside Sales Representative – Nordics (m/f/*)

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As an Inside Sales Representative for the Electrical Market Division covering the Nordic region, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Advancing the sales process, service and value proposition for specified key channel partners across the region, incorporating value selling through direct engagement with key personnel within the channel’s branch/shop network

  • Introducing new products, selling and upgrading regular product order and determining requirements of channel branch/shops for future training needs

  • Applying knowledge of customer contracts and agreements to support queries relating to 3M products and pricing, with support from 3M technical, sales and marketing teams

  • Communicating with 3M field sales team where additional support is needed for end users and driving strategies and tactics required to achieve sales plans

  • Collaborating closely with 3M Channel Manager and Channel Marketer to follow up on existing programmes and projects and supporting the development of future programmes

  • Demonstrating knowledge and use of social selling tools to create connections with industry and customers and generating qualified leads

Your Skills and Expertise   

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:

  • Good understanding of sales processes

  • Knowledge in CRM system (Salesforce.com) or other sales acceleration tools

  • Comfortable selling on the phone, communicating value

  • Strong customer and service orientation

  • Positive thinking, tenacious, driven, highly structured

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

  • high level of interdependence, learning attitude, self motivation and flexibility

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant industry experience

  • Fluent in Swedish, English and preferably Finnish. Needs to be able to communicate in Norwegian and Danish.

Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Experience from a technical or B2B sales and/or knowledge of electrical markets in the Nordics could be an advantage

  • Great communication skills, professional phone manner, collaborative team player

  • Norwegian and Danish language skills

Job specifics:

  • Based in the 3M office in Solna, Sweden, supporting customers across Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark

  • Occasional travel may be required to attend customer meetings and exhibitions

  • This role has on-site working model, with the employee working at least four days a week in the Solna office.

  • Working pattern - Full time
