As an Inside Sales Representative on the Portland Glass team, a typical day for you will include:
Serve as the first point of contact for customers needing auto glass, residential glass, or commercial glass support.
Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, explaining services, and helping customers understand next steps.
Make outbound calls to follow up on leads, inquiries, estimates, and open quotes.
Convert customer inquiries into scheduled appointments, service jobs, or sales opportunities.
Partner with Portland Glass shops and field teams to coordinate job details, availability, pricing, and scheduling needs.
Maintain accurate customer, job, quote, and follow-up notes in company systems.
Review job estimates and quotes with customers, addressing questions and helping move work forward.
Support sales growth by identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate Portland Glass services.
Handle administrative tasks tied to customer orders, scheduling, documentation, and communication.
Help create a positive customer experience that reflects Portland Glass’s reputation for reliable service and community-focused support.
Admin duties such as: Scheduling glass installations, placing orders, receiving product, collecting payments, invoicing, communicating with insurance companies, etc.
Perform other duties as required.

Demonstrates patience, professionalism, and a customer-first mindset.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable handling inbound and outbound phone calls, explaining services, and following up on quotes and inquiries.
Ability to confidently recommend solutions, overcome objections, and convert inquiries into scheduled appointments or sales opportunities.
Comfortable asking for the business and following up consistently.
Capable of managing multiple customer requests, quotes, appointments, and follow-up activities simultaneously.
Maintains accurate records and documentation within company systems.
Demonstrates urgency and accountability in responding to customers, completing administrative tasks, and managing a high volume of leads.
Consistently follows through on commitments and customer communications.
Education: High school diploma or GED required
Experience: Previous sales experience is strongly preferred

Schedule / in-office requirements: Monday to Friday in office for standard core working hours
