About the role
The individual will be ready to embody our values and deliver to our customers industry leading support. This is an important role and will develop into a critical member of our America’s Sales Organization and will ensure we can build upon our leadership position as a global powerhouse in Discretes, Logic and Power MOSFET technology in one of our most important segments.
What you will do
- Support the Nexperia sales teams by managing customer product changes and related qualifications
- Maintain and track the status of customer product change approval
- Manage customer sample requests related to customer product change qualification
- Process customer quality document requests related to product change qualification
- Maintain and update quality documents within customer portals
- Conduct face to face customer meetings weekly/daily and as necessary to provide support, discuss current issues, provide updates, discuss current and future product changes, and build strong relationships
- Exploring and identifying creative solutions where Nexperia can enhance its engineering product change process
- Understanding formal & informal hierarchy, identifying decision makers at the customer, and developing relationship strategies to improve our position at the account
- Representing and conveying the customer needs internally and ensuring adequate priorities are set to execute against their needs
What you will need
- Minimum Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Electrical Engineering
- Preferred 1-3 Years sales or quality experience in the Semiconductor Industry
- Knowledge of Discrete Semiconductors including MOSFETs, ESD protection and LOGIC
- The ability to learn and execute strategies skillfully involving multiple stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial thinking, result oriented, customer focused
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including EXCEL, and PowerPoint
- Team player who embraces responsibility and wants to be part of a winning team
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Pro-active, willing to learn and enthusiastic person, who is willing to take initiative and knows how to set priorities
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Meets and beats deadlines
