The purpose of this role is to build, enable and develop a team of best-in-class inside sales representatives that will drive growth and strengthen relationships with our valued KSCS customers & prospects. The Inside Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the team through territory coverage, creating meaningful and sustainable sales pipeline, and successfully forecasting deals through the sales cycle. This is an excellent opportunity for goal-orientated individuals to be a part of one of the largest supply chain execution (SCE) companies in the world.
 

What a day in the life looks like:

  • Manage, develop and lead a team of Inside Sales Executives and facilitate their success in:

    • Building credible relationships with new and existing accounts.

    • Generating new business pipeline, drive opportunities to close and increase Lifetime Customer Value.

    • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

  • Utilizing and accurately updating KSCS sales and productivity tools for forecasting, pipeline management, and customer contacts; Conducting weekly forecasting and progress meetings with Sales using these tools.

  • Stay up to date on product enhancements, industry trends, and competitive landscape to maintain a competitive edge for your team by educating their customers to optimize solutions.

  • Oversee pipeline growth initiatives in collaboration with sales and marketing teams to drive both net new business and upsell/cross-sell opportunities with existing KSCS customers

  • Lead weekly sales meetings to cover items such as sales skills and enablement, process improvements and efficiencies, sharing best practices, and solutions roadmaps.

  • Assign territories and allocate quotas relative to territory makeup and corporate objectives.

  • Regular evaluation of performance and progress to motivate and enhance effectiveness.

This is a hybrid role with the office based in Minneapolis, plus occasional travel. Working pattern & hours are Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week

What you bring to the team:

  • Inside Sales leadership experience working in B2B or technology sales, preferably in the supply chain or logistics industry (SCE)

  • Proven capabilities in SaaS or software sales with a successful track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets. Familiarity with cloud-based sales models is advantageous.

  • Strong presentation, negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills with customers and senior level internal stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical skills to assess customer needs and identify opportunities for solutions.

  • Proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and other sales productivity tools (e.g. LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo).

  • Excellent proactive leadership, teaming and collaboration skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively, independently and energetically to manage multiple priorities and deadlines within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
