Job Function:

The Inside Sales Manager is a results-driven “Player/Coach” that supports our growth and business transformation across multiple Industrial segments in North America (Canada, USA, and Mexico). The ideal candidate will excel in building, mentoring, and managing a high performing Inside Sales Team. In addition, this role will perform customer-facing activities throughout the full sales cycle, building strong customer relationships, and driving new revenue growth through proactive outreach and account management.

Head of Sales – Fluid Connectors Division, NA

Responsibilities and Objectives:

  • Create, build, mentor, track team’s KPI’s.
  • Provide direction, and strategic focus consistent with the overall FCS business strategy.
  • Proactively identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities via phone, email, and CRM tools.
  • Manage inbound inquiries, provide technical product information, and recommend solutions tailored to customer needs. Prepare and deliver accurate quotations, process orders, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain and update customer records, sales activities, and pipeline status in the CRM system.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to maximize retention and upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing, outside sales, technical support, and product management teams to create/understand value propositions and prospect and call target customers.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve sales processes, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in training and development programs to stay current on product offerings and industry trends.
  • Adheres to all safety, quality and environmental standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 3–5+ years of inside sales experience in B2B industrial or technical products (fluid connectors, automation, plastics, automotive, or related sectors). Team Management preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Aurea) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Additional Information

Physical Requirements:

  • Travel Stamina: Ability to travel frequently to meet with customers, attend trade shows, and visit client sites.
  • Presentation Stamina: Capability to stand for extended periods while delivering technical demonstrations, presentations, or training sessions.
  • Vision and Hearing: Adept visual acuity for analyzing technical drawings, software interfaces, or machinery, and auditory capabilities for clear communication in, sometimes, loud environments.
  • Physical Dexterity: General dexterity to operate computers, and, in some cases, handle, demonstrate, or install technical, scientific, or mechanical equipment

Work schedule:

  • Willingness to travel as required both domestically and internationally (10-15%)
  • This position will report to the Duncan, SC office with flexible (hybrid) schedule after completion of 90-day training program.
