RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer incoming calls and emails to the Inside Sales Department.
- Generate Quotes, order entry, certificates, etc to move orders through the lifecycle.
- Learn Burkert’s offerings for potential and current customers.
- Partner and liaise effectively with Field Sales, Technical Sales and others to meet customer needs, support full cycle sales coverage and achieve regional goals.
- Learn Burkert processes and principles to drive growth.
- Develop a functional understanding of our customers and industries as related to the Burkert products or services being sold.
- Begin a rotation of training to gain knowledge of products, selling skills, customer relationship skills and others as needed.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

Education and Experience:
- Associate degree is preferred
- 2+ years of customer service and/or inside experience preferably in a manufacturing, office environment
Skills:
- Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office
- Experience using SAP Preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
- Quick learner, receptive to coaching, and collaborative.
- Exceptional time management, attention to detail, and follow-up skills
- High energy, entrepreneurial spirit, initiative-taking, and goal oriented
