The Role
Supports Area Sales Managers and dealer partners by identifying and processing new business opportunities. Responsibilities include targeting dealers, training users on the ECS system, quoting customers, processing credit applications, coordinating with Credit, and developing strong customer and dealer relationships. The role requires agricultural finance knowledge, strong communication and influencing skills, customer service orientation, organization, teamwork, English fluency, and basic PC skills in a hybrid work environment.

The Food & Agriculture Division is one of the leading providers of asset finance facilities to the Irish farming community and related businesses. Our key objectives going forward is to continue to grow the business through the Vendor & dealer channels and also build a strong relationship with the customer base. We now need to appoint one internal sales desk resource to support our ASM team, dealer network and also develop direct customer new business opportunities.

Day to day:

  • Support and Manage Area Sales Managers New Business Opportunities
  • Target Specific Dealers for New Business.
  • Train dealers on DLL’s ECS system.
  • Quote customers, process credit applications from customers and dealers.
  • Be able to move new business through sales process in an efficient manner.
  • Liaise with Credit Dept to ensure efficient response times.
  • Build rapport with customers and dealers to ensure a quality service.

  • A comprehensive knowledge of Agri Finance  – products and processes. 
  • Strong communication and influencing skills. 
  • Excellent customer service skills. 
  • Excellent planning and organising skills.
  • An Ability to work as part of a team and to deal with business units in a friendly and professional manner.
  • An interest in general agricultural matters.
  • Good PC skills.
  • A relevant 3rd level education is desirable.
