Role Title: Inside Sales

Mission

  • Facilitate optimal revenue levels through timely and accurate communication support for the outside sales team.
  • Provide direct customer service and house account management.
  • Coordinate effectively with operations to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.

 

Roles & Objectives:

  • Initiate or coordinate customer contact with the sales team
  • Serve as point of contact for order entry, customer identification, customer qualification, and credit establishment
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive product knowledge
  • Distribute price pages, templates, and quotes
  • Communicate and coordinate price levels with customers and the sales team
  • Qualify new accounts from a financial and credit perspective
  • Structure, analyze, and enter job information for quoting purposes
  • Act as liaison between customers and manufacturing facilities, providing timely and accurate information
  • Support the estimator in job quote entry
  • Maintain the status of early stage potential jobs and current jobs
  • Run reports out of the ERP system
  • Manage clients’ competing priorities and determine appropriate prioritization
Qualifications

Competencies:

  • Ability to perform repetitive data entry with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to run reports for analysis
  • Provide internal and external customer service via phone and in person
  • Facilitate problem solving and develop solutions
  • Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Leverage SeC product portfolio to offer complete solutions to customers
  • Ability to sell SeC as a stormwater solution provider, not just a materials supplier

 

Level II Expectations

  • Inside sales experience in construction industry
  • Strong data entry experience Proficient with MS Office
  • Working knowledge of CRM or sales software
  • Familiar with SeC portfolio of products or similar construction products
  • Phone sales and phone customer service experience
  • Experience setting up and managing accounts Strong customer experience Knowledge of sales order process

 

Level III Expectations

  • Inside sales experience in construction industry
  • Extensive data entry experience 
  • Expert with MS Office
  • Solid experience using CRM or sales software
  • Full working knowledge of SeC portfolio of products or similar construction products
  • Phone sales and phone customer service experience
  • Experience setting up and managing accounts
  • Strong customer experience
  • Knowledge of sales order process
  • Knowledge/understanding of end to end business processes
  • Ability to leverage knowledge and experience to anticipate, recognize and removed obstacles/issues

Skills Required
