We’re looking for a sales-focussed, customer-driven individual to join our team as an Inside Product Support Representative. In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving parts solutions sales across a high-volume customer base of 150–300+ clients, generating approx. $3M in annual revenue. You’ll be the go-to contact for customers seeking expert guidance on parts and service solutions—especially in areas like undercarriage, machine rebuilds, component options and digital platforms such as parts.cat.com and Cat Central.Job Description:
What You’ll Do
Build strong relationships with your assigned owner-operators and growing contractors—our Retail and Small Core customer segments—by understanding their business needs and delivering tailored parts and service solutions.
Engage customers proactively to understand their needs and present tailored solutions that demonstrate Finning’s value.
Leverage digital tools and data sources to identify opportunities and open the door to serving the customer.
Develop strategic call plans and account strategies to maximize customer engagement and sales performance.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, equipment population, and opportunities using Saleslink.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product support, equipment sales, and service teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.
The majority of your work day will be spent in your local facility or in front of customers, with an opportunity for a flexible work arrangement.
Skills You Bring
A strong sales and customer service mindset with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Confidence in customer-facing interactions, with a focus on consultative selling.
Ability to navigate complex customer needs and offer practical, value-driven solutions.
Familiarity with parts systems, undercarriage measurement, and heavy equipment terminology (training provided).
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 2-3+ years of proven success in sales, customer service, or account management.
Experience in the heavy equipment or construction industry is a strong asset.
Comfort with digital platforms and tools used in parts sales and support.
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn skills like undercarriage measuring.
