Job Description

Base pay rate $54,000 - 58,000 a year

PLUS generous commission plan with the opportunity to earn $76,000 - 100,000 +

POSITION SUMMARY:

The inside sales representative will be responsible for developing new leads, communicating with customers to understand their needs, and ensure a smooth sales process. Will close small business and mid-market sales opportunities and meet daily driven activity targets and gallon volume goals. A successful rep will be able to build instant rapport and achieve customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop, qualify, and close leads through high-volume cold calling.
  • Communicate with customers, make outbound calls to prospects, and follow up on leads.
  • Generate leads list from 3rd party applications
  • Understand customers’ needs and identify sales opportunities.
  • Answer potential customers’ questions and send additional information
  • Research and qualify new leads.
  • Upsell products and services.
  • Keep up with product and service information/updates and stay informed about competing products and services.
  • Create and maintain activity data via Salesforce of current and potential customers.
  • Achieve gallon volume targets

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Exceptional customer service skills including:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong listening skills
    • Professional phone etiquette
  • Minimum 2 years previous experience in an outbound call center or other cold calling experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software such as Salesforce.com
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
  • Goal oriented
  • Ability to work in a high-pace daily metric driven environment
