We are looking for a strong backend engineer with deep Golang expertise to build and scale distributed systems powering millions of users. This is a hands-on role focused on backend development, performance optimization, and system reliability.
You will work closely with product, data, and infrastructure teams to design and deliver scalable services in a high-traffic environment.
We are looking for an experienced Golang Developer (SDE-3) who will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems. You will play a critical role in improving system performance, architecture, and reliability, collaborating closely with product, data, and infrastructure teams.
Key Responsibilities-- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices in Golang
Build high-performance REST/gRPC APIs serving large-scale traffic.
Write clean, efficient, and production-grade code with proper testing.
Optimize existing services for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Work on concurrency-heavy and distributed systems use cases.
Integrate message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ) for asynchronous processing.
Design efficient database schemas and optimize queries.
Participate in code reviews and maintain engineering best practices.
Contribute to monitoring, logging, and production issue resolution.
Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver features end-to-end
Mandatory Skills (Non-Negotiable)
Minimum 4+ years of hands-on Golang experience in production systems.
Strong understanding of: Concurrency and Goroutines , Microservices architecture
Distributed systems fundamentals, Experience building REST APIs and/or gRPC services.
Hands-on experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Strong knowledge of at least one SQL database (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
Experience with Redis or similar caching systems.
Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
Experience working on AWS or GCP environments.
Good to Have
Experience in high-traffic consumer tech platforms.
Exposure to Elasticsearch or real-time systems.
Understanding of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
