Job Description
Process Developments / Improvements (Turning, Milling, Drilling etc.)
Assist in designing and conducting trials to test new processes or modifications to existing processes mainly turning, milling, drilling etc. Collect data and samples, monitor process variable during process development for analysis to evaluate process performance and provide input into solutions and improvements.
New / Used MAE (Turning, Milling, Drilling etc.) Try-Out And Process Establishment
Identify and address technical issues or deviations during the MAE try-out and commissioning. Prepare reports and documentation summarizing process development activities, findings, and results. Collaborate on optimizing processes to improve OEE, design of fixtures for quick change and poke yoke
Competence Development
Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to process development, digital technologies, automation etc.
Process Support
Collect and analyse data during trials/improvements to understand process behaviour, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Execute trouble shooting for process issues / technical breakdowns for business continuity.
Process Development Cell
Planning and Scheduling of Blue Collar Workmen activities (Process Improvements, Smart Automation, Tool preparation area etc..)
Qualifications
BE / B. Tech (Mechanical / Production)
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the related technology field
Additional Information
Knowledge:
- Knowledge on Engg drawing, Engineering statistics (Machine & Process Capability), SPC, GD& T, MSA etc.
- Knowledge on programming depending on specific technologies (CNC programming, Vision programming, Press programming, Screwer programming, Python, etc.)
- Knowledge on CNC, basic PLC systems, Hydraulics and Pneumatics
- Hands on experience and in-depth knowledge @ level L3 in minimum one related technology
- Basic knowledge on standard Digital solutions, competency (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) and Emerging technologies (Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence)
- Knowledge on cutting tool manufacturing and resharpening will be added advantage.
Functional Skills:
- Good written and verbal communication,
- Networking with locations and OEM,
- Usage of MS office tools
- Knowledge of various problem solving tools like Shainin, PSS, DOE, etc
