Job DescriptionHealth, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Management
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures in compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
- Conduct risk assessments such as HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment), HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study), and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements under the Karnataka Factory Rules , Environment Protection Act and allied rules , Karnataka Fire and emergency rules and SEBI BRSR (Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting) framework.
- Lead incident investigations to identify root causes using techniques like fault tree analysis or 8D and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and training sessions to promote a strong safety culture.
Environmental Management
- Monitor environmental compliance by managing emissions, waste reduction strategies, and pollution control measures.
- Drive sustainability initiatives such as carbon footprint reduction, energy efficiency improvements, and waste minimization projects.
- Oversee environmental impact assessments for manufacturing processes.
Sustainability Leadership
- Align company operations with corporate sustainability goals by implementing ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) frameworks.
- Prepare reports on sustainability metrics for internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies (e.g., SEBI BRSR requirements).
Regulatory Compliance
- Serve as the liaison with local authorities to ensure adherence to all applicable HSE laws.
- Maintain accurate records of regulatory reporting requirements related to safety incidents, environmental compliance, and sustainability metrics.
Training & Development
- Conduct training programs on workplace safety protocols, emergency preparedness, and sustainability practices.
- Identify training needs through Training Needs Analysis (TNA) for employees at all levels.
Continuous Improvement
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing innovative solutions to reduce risks and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSE considerations into project planning and execution.
Technical Skills
