About the Role
As an Innovation Project Manager within the Solenis Strategy Office, you’ll be at the forefront of driving product and process innovation – from idea to market. You'll lead complex projects through the full stage-gate process, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic goals.
This role is hybrid, with flexible home/office working. You’ll collaborate closely with global teams across R&D, Marketing, Business Units, and Supply Chain. Expect plenty of exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence the company’s innovation agenda.
Your Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute innovation projects – from concept to commercialization – ensuring speed to market and high-quality outcomes.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Facilitate collaboration between technical and non-technical teams across departments and geographies.
Translate market and strategic insights into actionable innovation plans.
Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders at all levels – both commercial and technical.
Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and roadblocks across teams.
Ensure proper documentation and adherence to relevant quality and regulatory standards.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration).
At least 5 years of project management experience, ideally within the chemical, water treatment, or industrial process sectors.
Proven success in managing innovation or product development projects.
Strong understanding of the development process for chemical or equipment-based innovations.
Excellent interpersonal skills – capable of aligning diverse stakeholders and fostering effective teamwork.
Able to work independently, with a hands-on mentality and structured approach.
Comfortable using project management tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, or Asana.
Fluent in English – other languages are a plus but not required.
Willingness to travel occasionally (less than 20%).
