Achieve the functional and dysfunctional design of innovative batteries to ensure the desired performance of the battery pack with a minimum safety with respect to an agreed planning with a cross functional synthesis with several skilled people.
- Assess the disruptive technologies in cell electrochemistry for automotive application from technical performance points of view.
- Lead relationships with different external partners (academics, startups, cell manufacturers, material providers).
- Lead relationships and human resources coordination with different advanced and core teams with internal facilities.
- Lead and extend partnerships and internal facilities upgrade plan.
- Build and disseminate the mid and long terms roadmaps for cell electrochemistry technologies and designs.
ISSUES:
- To master and disseminate the process of functional and dysfunctional design of batteries by seeking unprecedented performance in terms of horsepower and energy
- To lead a project including several teams and skills to pass TRL and milestones according to the project planning.
- To capitalize and disseminate methods and models implemented within the PDT communities
- To summarize the balance sheets at the project level of performance and constraints of the addressed battery packs
- To evaluate the thermo-electric performance of a battery pack (horsepower, energy addressable under thermal environment)
- To evaluate battery pack cost
- To evaluate battery pack performance in stationary environment
- To evaluate battery pack Life Cycle Analysis (LCA)
POSITION ENVIRONMENT:
- To exchange and validate its results with technical teams, expertise network and project stakeholders
- To capitalize tools, models and methods with teams partners
RESULTS TO BE PRODUCED:
- Technical assessments (TRL) and project Milestones
- Synthesis of the functional and dysfunctional designs for the battery pack

- Models and control laws to assess performances
- TRL assessments including LCA assessments.
- Cost analysis.
- Sets of requirements for external cell makers.
- Activity reports.
- External partnerships and internal facilities upgrade plans.
ACTIVITIES TO ACHIEVE RESULTS:
- Use battery pack system engineering to build functional and dysfunctional analyzes
- Facilitate a working team for design synthesis
- Cross functional synthesis with several skilled people
- Manage partners relationships.
- Gather and synthesize information from several sources.
- Process the TRL gates (including LCA and cost) and deliver in time.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree Materials Engineering or Electrochemistry Engineering
- Minimum 8 years working experience in the battery energy storage area.
- Knowledge in battery pack design, electrochemistry, thermal management, battery cell, and electrical energy storage.

Stellantis Compensation & Benefits Highlights
The following summarizes recurring compensation and benefits themes identified from responses generated by popular LLMs to common candidate questions about Stellantis and has not been reviewed or approved by Stellantis.
-
Pay Growth & Progression — Contract-driven increases lifted hourly wages roughly 25% over 4.5 years and restored cost-of-living adjustments, pushing top rates near $42 per hour by the end of the agreement. Union hourly positions appear to have benefited most since the 2023 deal.
-
Affordable Benefits — UAW-represented hourly workers pay no premiums and about 3% of total healthcare costs while receiving comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and wellness coverage. This creates materially lower out-of-pocket costs for represented hourly roles.
-
Retirement Support — Post-2007 hourly hires receive a 10% employer 401(k) contribution and legacy workers saw defined-benefit improvements with retiree bonuses. Salaried roles also cite a 401(k) with employer match and contribution up to a maximum of 8%.
