The Role:
As a member of the Innovation team, the Innovative Solutions Manager will collaborate with legal operations teams, clients, and practice groups to deliver creative solutions to business problems and promote productivity, best practices, innovation, and client service.
Whilst this is the first innovation role within the London office, there is support from Innovation roles across our US and European offices.
Responsibilities:
Provides project management and process improvement services to internal stakeholders
Works with internal and external clients to document requirements/challenges, and develops and implements appropriate solutions
Supports team and firm-wide initiatives and special projects focused on legal technology roll-out and change management, emerging technology assessment (e.g., GenAI) and other process improvements
Performs project management for innovation projects, including gathering requirements, communicating with attorneys and clients, managing development timeline, and completing project roll-out
Partners with other members of the Innovation and Information Technology team to identify, evaluate, and implement emerging legal technologies
Serves as a subject matter expert for legal technology solutions, providing ongoing support to internal teams and stakeholders
Monitors ongoing legal industry practices related to innovation, including trends, emerging technology, and implementation challenges
Researches and evaluates tools and procedures that promote productivity, efficiency, and quality for legal work product and delivery of legal services.
Leverages and crafts solutions using Greenberg Traurig tools and third-party software to aid in the development of new solutions
Promotes visibility of departmental activities and solutions via firm presentations and client meetings
Experience, Skills and personal attributes:
Demonstrated interest and understanding of emerging technologies (i.e. artificial intelligence, machine learning, predictive coding), and how they can be applied in a legal context

Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional, collaborative team
Exceptional ability to quickly and accurately triage, deconstruct, and communicate issues and potential resolutions to management and professionals of all levels
Capacity to learn and use a variety of matter, project and portfolio management tools
Provide outstanding client service and seek to exceed client expectations; proactive in seeking innovative ways to help others
Experience in change management and/or training with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Awareness and experience with assorted legal operations and technology tools
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in business administration, information technology or a related field is essential
Significant experience of working within a law firm, corporate legal department or other professional services environment
Project Management Professional (PMP) or lean six sigma certification is desirable
