Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and visionary Innovation Manager to support and coach our teams in their innovation initiatives. This role will be part of the Innovation Management & New Technologies team, focusing on driving innovative projects and strategies. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a keen eye for identifying market trends, and the ability to guide projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate ideation sessions and workshops to foster creative thinking and problem-solving. Managing the medmix Ideation platform.
- Identify new market opportunities and emerging technologies resulting in new innovation projects that foster business growth.
- Guide cross-functional teams through the innovation process.
- Drive collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners, such as startups, academic institutions, and industry experts.
- Contribute to the advancement of the medmix Innovation System.
- Support in developing and implementing innovation strategies.
- Play an active role in strengthening the medmix innovation culture.
- Help to monitor and evaluate innovation project portfolios, including tracking and progress and business impact.
- Prepare reports on innovation initiatives and ensuring data healthiness in our innovation platform.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, with further education in economics.
- 6+ years of experience in innovation management, product management, business development or a similar role, within an international environment.
- Understanding of market trends, technology advancements, and competitive landscape.
- Experience with strategic foresight, venture building, design thinking, agile methodologies like Scrum, and other innovation frameworks.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and launching new products and/or services end-to-end.
- Very good coaching and mentoring skills with experience in change management.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically, results focused with business acumen.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Business proficient in English, German skills could be advantage
