Responsibilities:
- Migration of Cellar store (the semantic repository of Publications Office) from AWS Cloud to another Cloud provider involving migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL;
- Migrate existing cloud-based Oracle databases (RDS) to PostgreSQL cloud-based databases (setting, data, procedures);
- Removal of Oracle Spatial;
- Ensure data integrity, security, and performance of cloud-based databases during and after the migration;
- Provide technical expertise and support for database-related issues;
- Develop and maintain database backup and recovery procedures;
- Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high availability and scalability;
- Collaborate with other teams and involvement in other IT systems and the Data Migration leader to ensure database design meets application requirements;
- Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
Requirements
- University degree in IT, or any related field;
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in IT;
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a DBA, with a focus on cloud migration and database administration;
- Minimum 5 years of experience with database design and development;
- Minimum 5 years of experience of Oracle, Oracle Spatial, RDS, and PostgreSQL;
- Minimum 2 years of experience with cloud migration, including data transfer and synchronization;
- Minimum 1 year of experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban);
- Excellent knowledge of the English language and good knowledge of French language.
