The Role

What Business Performance Partner contributes to Cardinal Health
Operational Excellence is responsible for identifying and executing against performance improvement opportunities, enabling successful transformations across the enterprise, and using contemporary process improvement techniques while building people capabilities.
Business Performance Partner is responsible for consulting with internal or external customers and suppliers to assess current business performance, develop recommendations, and implement process improvements utilizing contemporary improvement tools.
Qualifications

  • 4-8 years of experience, preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • CSSBB or ready to be certified, Project management skills preferred

  • Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects
  • May contribute to the development of policies and procedures
  • Works on complex projects of large scope
  • Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
  • Solutions are innovative and consistent with organization objectives
  • Completes work; independently receives general guidance on new projects
  • Work reviewed for purpose of meeting objectives
  • May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues
  • Develop/support Value Stream Maps for all the process inside the company
  • Assess internal company process in order to identify the best practices and implement them (QIP)
  • Support the site strategy deployment based on the LEAN Operating System following the LOS transformation process
  • Lead and/or Coordinate Training and/or Certifications for Black Belts, Green Belts, Lean Leaders, LOS 101, DMAIC, FTQ, etc. 
  • Implement Best Manufacturing Practices in the company
  • Lead and coach Kaizen events and A3 execution.
  • Assess internal company process in order to identify the best practices and implement them  
  • Support the site to update the labor standard every year. 
  • Develop/support continuous improvement projects for all the process inside the company.
  • Facilitate the cost saving strategy within the Focus Factory, lead cost reduction initiatives delivering cost reduction year over year.
