JOB DESCRIPTION
5-10 years of experience in a high production manufacturing environment with welding of automotive products. BS Degree in Welding or Manufacturing Engineering, or other related engineering discipline. Experience with laser welding process preferred, with robotic GMAW, and some resistance welding also highly desirable. Experience with automation, robot programming, PLC programming are also all highly desirable. Experience with welding process, equipment, and fixture specification, selection, set-up, implementation and troubleshooting a must. Strong communication skills, with bi-lingual English and Spanish preferred. In addition to having a strong manufacturing process experience, applicant should display a positive can-do attitude, be resourceful, and a problem solver, who is self-motivated and able to complete assignments on schedule, working independently and with a team.
