Assure the proper manufacturing process working of each respective production line, area, project or products according to respective assignation.
Position responsibilities
To assure the proper assembly manufacturing process according to the product requirements. Implement new manufacturing process, changes based on neediness, continuous process improvements and workstation adaptation according to internal company KPI.
STANDARDIZED WORK INSTRUCTION
- Design, develop, debug, qualify, install and ramp-up tight tolerances assembly processes with mid-level of automation to plant relocation projects.
- Contributes to the improvement of current products (manufacturability, feasibility)
- Studies the feasibility & profitability of investments adapted to the needs using current equipment.
- Primary responsibilities will be supporting assembly processes of current relocation projects in progress from US to MX (assembly lines & EOL testers) but must be willing and able to assist in all project activities to meet demands of current manufacturing plant operation. Develop & implement related equipment - e.g. fixtures, tools, gages, etc. (current process in US and installation at Saltillo plant, Mexico);
- Plan & support implementation of infrastructure investment or modifications with regards to assembly processes continuous improvement.
- Support the release and validation plan of current products and production processes (PPAP)
- Create quality-related documentation for developed processes (PFC, PFMEA, PCP, etc.)
- Use CAD software to create layouts of equipment placement and support for possible new tooling implementation.
