- Participate in the strategic business unit to support internal customer metrics
- Coordinate and implement Engineering changes and deviations
- New component validation for manufacturability
- Attend design reviews and design for manufacturing / assembly sessions
- Monitoring of BOM generation and routings for new products. Proactively lead the update of production routings
- Design and quotation of tools, machines, processes, production cells and production areas (new or modifications)
- On time elaboration and delivery of manufacturing assessments for the NPD gates.
- Champion the creation of process flows, plant layouts, engineering technical documents.
- Participate of PFMEAS of manufacturing systems
- Provide expertise to put forward-thinking strategy, troubleshooting, containment actions and permanent internal and external corrective actions into practice
- Monitoring of new part number builds to ensure the necessary resources. Coordination and monitoring of engineering sample builds
- Monitoring compliance with the Environmental, Health and Safety objectives of its assigned areas
- Communication and scaling of open issues and plan from early design stages
- Design workstations under Ergonomics guidelines
- Heavy participation of business transfers
- Monitor production floor on daily bases to solve issues
- Product Support serving as bridge between the plant and design groups
- Proactively work towards 100% readiness, on time and on budget deliverables on all the assignments
- Proactively partners with other groups/functions within Facilities and with strategic partners to set and meet facility objectives, adhere to business processes to positively impact company goals
- Monitors all structural, equipment, critical works performed by related to process contractors and ensure that the projects are designed and constructed in compliance with quality requirements, approved drawings, specifications standards, and approved planning and resources
- Examines provisions made for equipment and machinery and suggest any modification to support production compliance, labor efficiency and departmental budget
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering discipline
- MUST have 2 years’ experience in diverse manufacturing environments
- Beneficial if have 5+ years’ experience in diverse manufacturing environments
- NX CAD capability would be highly beneficial
- Able to read and write technical English documents
