Vos responsabilités - Votre carrière à Moneris

  • Concevoir, développer et maintenir des pipelines de données, des processus ETL et des solutions d’entrepôt de données.

  • Développer, tester et déployer des solutions BI, incluant des tableaux de bord, des rapports et des modèles de données.

  • Définir et mettre en œuvre des indicateurs de performance clés (KPI) et des modèles de données pour soutenir les analyses d’affaires.

  • Assurer la qualité, l’intégrité et la fiabilité des données à travers les processus d’ingestion, de transformation et de diffusion.

  • Créer et maintenir des visualisations de données afin de communiquer les tendances et les informations clés.

  • Automatiser les processus de production de rapports et optimiser les flux de données pour améliorer l’efficacité et la scalabilité.

  • Monitorer les systèmes BI et les pipelines de données, et résoudre de façon proactive les problèmes.

  • Mettre en œuvre les meilleures pratiques en modélisation de données, tests, documentation et analytique.

Compétences et expérience requises

  • Baccalauréat en informatique, en génie logiciel ou expérience équivalente.

  • Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience en ingénierie de données et intelligence d’affaires.

  • Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience dans le développement de tableaux de bord et de rapports avec des outils tels que Looker, Power BI ou Tableau.

  • Expérience avec des entrepôts de données, incluant BigQuery.

  • Maîtrise de SQL, DBT et d’outils de gestion de versions tels que GitHub.

  • Expérience dans un environnement de développement agile.

  • Expérience avec Python.

  • Bilinguisme en français et en anglais.

Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity

Are you passionate about data and BI reporting and enjoy building scalable solutions? Join our Data Science team, where we support Moneris’ Artificial Intelligence and Business Intelligence initiatives.

In this role, you’ll help build and evolve our BI capabilities, working in a dynamic environment alongside engaged stakeholders and a collaborative team focused on delivering meaningful insights for restaurant owners.

Location: You will be based in our Quebec City office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Manager, Software Development and Architecture II.

Posting Type: Replacement.

Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is $85,000 - $119,000.

Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions. Individual job offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

  • Implement business intelligence solutions, including ETL pipelines, data warehouses, reports, dashboards, and data models.

  • Define key performance indicators and data requirements and translate them into reliable reporting and analytics solutions.

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support BI and data engineering solutions end to end.

  • Build and execute unit and integration tests to improve data reliability and reduce production issues.

  • Ensure data quality across ingestion, transformation, modeling, and automated reporting workflows.

  • Develop data visualizations that clearly communicate trends and patterns to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Automate recurring and ad hoc reporting requests to improve efficiency and scalability.

  • Monitor dashboards, data pipelines, and visualization layers, and proactively resolve issues.

  • Identify and implement process improvements, including automation and report redesigns to support scalability.

  • Apply best practices in data integrity, analytics, visualization, testing, validation, and documentation.

Required skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering and business intelligence.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience developing reports and dashboards using tools such as Looker, Power BI, or Tableau.

  • Experience working with a data warehouse, including BigQuery.

  • Proficiency with SQL and DBT, and experience using GitHub for version control.

  • Experience working in an agile development environment.

  • Working knowledge of Python.
