As a Technology Business Manager in Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) Payments Technology, you serve as a trusted advisor to technology leadership, providing insight and oversight across infrastructure strategy, budgets, and investment decisions. You’ll ensure that Payments Technology initiatives align with Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB), Digital Payment Services (DPS), and Global Technology objectives. This role offers the opportunity to synthesize complex technical and financial data into actionable intelligence for senior stakeholders, all within a highly visible and fast-paced setting.
Job Responsibilities
- Partner with Payments Technology leadership to align infrastructure strategy with business and Global Technology standards
- Lead infrastructure forecasting and deliver targeted, audience-specific reporting and insights
- Identify and execute infrastructure optimization opportunities to drive cost efficiency
- Provide leadership and coordination during annual and in-year infrastructure planning cycles
- Resolve technology billing issues with internal and external partners
- Serve as subject matter expert across on-prem, off-prem, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure models
- Apply FinOps principles to evaluate technology solutions and optimize cost, performance, and value
- Produce data-driven analysis and executive-level materials for stakeholder forums
- Coordinate across stakeholders to execute infrastructure programs, track financial spend, timelines, and outcomes
- Organize and prepare materials for governance forums, operating reviews, and business update sessions
- Design and implement improved processes, controls, and business solutions to drive productivity and cost-efficiency
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Economics, Technology, or related field
- Strong background in technology infrastructure, financial management, and cloud FinOps practices
- Demonstrated experience in Technology Business Management and technology financial governance
- Knowledge of modern and legacy platforms including cloud, distributed systems, mid-range, and mainframe environments
- Strong analytical skills with experience working across large, complex data sets
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging senior, global stakeholders
- Highly self-directed, resilient, and comfortable operating autonomously in high-pressure environments
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Familiarity with BI and reporting tools such as Tableau
- Prior exposure to AI technologies and their financial and infrastructure implications
- Knowledge of Payments products, platforms, and technology landscapes
- Experience supporting CTO-level executives and senior technology leadership teams
