We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our Server Migrations Team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing automation solutions that support large-scale server and data center migrations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transitions to modern infrastructure environments, including cloud platforms like Azure and GCP.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation pipelines to support server and infrastructure migrations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess current environments and define migration strategies
- Execute end-to-end migration plans with minimal downtime and risk
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Build and manage APIs and automation scripts using Python
- Support cloud migration initiatives and infrastructure provisioning
- Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to enhance operational efficiency
- Maintain documentation and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with proven experience in data center or server migration projects
- Hands-on experience with CI or CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Familiarity with OpenShift or other container orchestration platforms
- Solid proficiency in Python scripting and API development
- Proficient in using GitHub for version control and collaboration
- Proven excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Cloud certifications (Azure, GCP, or AWS)
- Experience with PowerShell or Shell scripting
- Experience working in regulated or enterprise-scale environments
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
