Associate — Infrastructure & OperationsTechnical Assistant to the SVPYou’ll work with and report directly to Krishna Jagannathan, SVP of Infrastructure & Operations, as a technical operations and administration lead. The I&O team is the engine room of Tech@Lilly — delivering the systems, platforms, networks, and support that every Lilly employee depends on to do their best work every day. Your mix of work will be split roughly 50/50 between project-based work and executive assistant responsibilities, with opportunities to grow both over time. This is a rare opportunity to work at the center of a global technology organization, with direct visibility into how decisions get made at the most senior levels of Tech@Lilly.
What You’ll Be Doing
Projects and Lead Team Support (50%)
- You will create informational, engaging, and visually appealing presentations for town halls, operational dashboards, portfolio tracking, and all-hands meetings.
- You will lead the way as a champion for simplifying and automating work where possible, including being a leading adopter of AI in your daily work (e.g., piloting new technology or customizing existing solutions to meet needs).
- You will be responsible for scheduling lead team meeting topics and keeping time in meetings.
- Establishing and managing a collaboration and knowledge management practice for the I&O lead team and extended leadership team to ensure connected and integrated project designs and decision making.
- You will embrace partnerships across Human Resources, Enterprise Communications, Finance, and other business units at Lilly.
- You will be responsible for tracking actual spend for the lead team budget and providing updates to the Finance team.
- You must demonstrate strong writing skills and be skilled at providing feedback on confidential executive documents.
Administrative Support to the Senior Vice President — Infrastructure & Operations (50%)
- You will show strong attention to detail in scheduling and can maintain complex calendars. You proactively establish strong working relationships with others at Lilly to maximize schedule coordination.
- You will be privy to confidential information across the company and across many levels, and must uphold the highest standard of integrity and honesty. Confidentiality and trustworthiness are critical traits.
- Proficient in and potentially responsible for performing additional scheduling duties to support peers across the Tech@Lilly lead team and Infrastructure & Operations organization. This may also include personally directing local activities and special functions.
- Support the I&O SVP for their travel including: domestic and international travel, coordination with the CIDO office for important events, lead team travel events, and supporting scheduling for international visitors of the I&O SVP.
- Serve as a leader and coordinator of the administrative team supporting Digital Core, ensuring tight alignment, communication, and collaboration.
May provide ad hoc support to the CIDO’s office as needed, including serving as a backup to the CIDO’s EA during planned or unplanned absences.

Your Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (in a technology/STEM-related field)
- 2+ years of working experience in a matrix organization post-degree.

Additional Information
- Office presence: This position requires 3–4 days per week in the office at the Lilly Corporate Center. Typical working hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET. You need to be onsite in general, roughly matching the schedule of executives at Lilly.
- Off hours: There will be times you need to provide support outside of normal hours, especially when associated with travel for Krishna or when backing up another executive.
- Travel percentage: 0–10%, depending on your preferences and interests.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$64,500 - $151,800Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
