About the job:
We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Analyst with proven experience in the financial sector to join an international bank with operations across multiple jurisdictions. This pivotal role is crucial for ensuring the continuity, security, and efficiency of our technological environments. This includes critical connectivity with core banking systems such as SPB and SWIFT, as well as ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards, network protocols, and local regulations.
Key Attributes:
Fluent English (oral and written) – essential for interaction with global teams.
Ability to perform under pressure, with a focus on problem-solving and task prioritisation.
High level of responsibility, autonomy, and a strong orientation towards security and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
Proven experience with virtualised environments (VMware, Hyper-V), and both Linux and Windows Server operating systems.
Solid understanding of network protocols and devices (TCP/IP, VPN, VLANs, firewalls, load balancing).
Experience in the integration and operation of SPB and SWIFT, including security and monitoring aspects.
Proficiency in cybersecurity tools (SIEM, EDR, DLP, digital certificates).
Knowledge of banking and investment business: liquidity, treasury, custody, financial messaging.
Desirable: Knowledge of automation (PowerShell, Ansible) and DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with ITSM management tools (ServiceNow, Jira, CMDB).
Highly Desirable:
Previous experience working in investment banks or multinational financial institutions.
Relevant certifications: ITIL, ISO 27001, Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), Microsoft, AWS, etc.
