About the program 

The Infrastructure Internship is a full-time, 12-week program (40 hours per week) running from May through August. Interns will gain hands-on professional experience by contributing to meaningful projects that have a direct impact on the business. The program will conclude with a presentation to the senior leadership team, highlighting both the project outcomes and the overall internship experience. Throughout the summer, interns will also gain broad exposure to the organization and its operations.

What You’ll Do: 

This position will gain professional experience by working alongside our internal Infrastructure team. The project will be at a level consistent with assignments given to starting four-year college graduates. In addition, the intern will obtain an overall understanding and exposure to other IT teams and jobs at LCS.

  • May work with existing communities to deploy new technologies.
  • May engage with technology partners to develop LCS solutions.
  • May interact with community leadership on project implementation.
  • Contribute to real projects that will be implemented within the organization 
  • Collaborate with leaders and team members across departments 
  • Participate in professional development and networking opportunities 
  • Present your project and summer experience to the senior leadership team at the conclusion of the internship 
  • Gain a broad understanding of our industry and operations through mentorship, training, and shadowing opportunities 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field of study.
  • Knowledge of security best practices, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
